Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 Confirmed for Switch 2 (translated)
Player agency: how policy constrains it, how the industry shapes it, how narrative design realizes it.
SEGA revealed during Nintendo Direct that Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 will be coming to Switch 2. Persona 4 Revival is a brand-new remake of Persona 4 Golden, retaining the original story while improving its visuals and feel of control; the Switch 2 version is scheduled to launch on May 20, later than the February 18 release on other platforms. Persona 6, meanwhile, has been confirmed for the new console, marking a new development for the series' next mainline installment.

Sakigarasu's Take
Having the same series appear on the new platform at the same time reduces the need for players to wait on unknowns for a single title. The information remains uneven between the remake and the new game, though, so players still need to separate what has been confirmed from what they are imagining and hoping for.
